Great tool that is easy to install for peace of mind. I will have to add that the installation video for helping to install the Park Release tool is outdated. The pin no longer detaches from the tool and is spring loaded.

Just installed your Paragon C8 DCT Park Release Transmission Tool on my 2020 C8. No problem with the install & the vehicle was able to move back & forth within the garage.
Product works as advertised. Only issue is your video mistakenly says to keep cover in place. Should make correction when error occurs in video. Not in the begining as I missed it. Many will skip beginning as we already know how to remove trunk liner.

I just installed this Tool yesterday (3/9/2026) but haven't had the need to use it and I hope that I never have to! The reason for (4) stars is that per the website (and embossed into the product) it showed the items was from Boost District. But the one I received had no such markings! Also, I'm not sure where this product was made. I was told the United States of America, but could it be China or India? No country of origin on the product or packaging! Plus, no installation instruction was included. The video stated that the Factory Dust Cover was to be left on but that's incorrect. For $185.00 hopefully it was made in the U.S. of A.
Tool works as advertised and was incredibly easy to install - 10 mins. at most and that's only because of the 15 dust cover bolts in the trunk. My second purchase from PARAGON as I also got the front radiator guards last year and they also exceeded my expectations for quality and ease of installation.

I purchased this recently. I fitted it on a Saturday and on the Sunday l was out doing some hard pulls. The accessory belt that drives the supercharger snapped (another story) and I was stuck on the side of the road. By the time the tow truck arrived, I had the rear engine cover removed and transmission in neutral. Loaded in no time and on the way home. For the small price this is peace of mind should anything happen.
