Add some lighting to your frunk & trunk bays with the easy to install Paragon Performance lighting kit. These plug & play into your excising puddle lights. The light function is operated by an attached switch that allows you to cycle through the colors. The lighting kit will operate when the trunk or frunk remain open & stay on for 10 minutes (factory puddle light time) after the button is pushed. They will not automatically turn on when the trunk or frunk is opened.

Only one flaw

These are simple LED lighting strips which look good and are very easy to install - especially with the help of Paragon's excellent installation video. My only gripe is that they do not come on automatically when the trunk or frunk is opened.

Overpriced. Lacks important features.

Way overpriced for a couple of LED strip lights. It is disappointing that they are not wired to allow both the existing trunk/frunk lights and the strip light to illuminate simultaneously. A simple “Y” splitter could have accomplished that. Even more disappointing is that they do not illuminate when the trunk is first opened. You have to grope around in the dark to find the switch to turn them on. Imagine if you have your hands full with packages. Kinda defeats the purpose of having the area light up when you need it the most. Again, a simple fix.

I guess it is plug, then press the button... and play

I guess I skipped right past the last sentence to the youtube install video before ordering and assumed plug and play into existing frunk and trunk muddle lights meant they would come on automatically like the OEM lights. They do not. As stated in the description...which I clearly did not read. You have to press the button every time you want lights on in the frunk/trunk. It is too bad because the lights look great and the install is easy as it gets, so I guess Ill keep them until I can find a true plug and play option.
