I recently installed the Paragon Performance C8 Corvette Carbon Fiber Hood Struts – Extra Duty, and I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. The installation was straightforward and took only a few minutes using basic tools.

The visible carbon fiber finish looks fantastic and adds a premium, performance-inspired touch to the engine bay. More importantly, the extra-duty struts provide excellent support and open the hood smoothly and confidently, even with a heavier deck lid setup. The hood now reaches full service position with ease and feels much more stable than the factory struts.

A nice upgrade for my C8 Stingray

A nice upgrade for my C8 Stingray. Carbon Fiber material gives this upgrade an impressive and clean look. I am also enjoying that this product was designed to automatically lift the hood to its fully open position which is an improvement over the OEM struts.
